There's some questions about the temporary switch from nsfw to sfw, so here’s my reasonings and why I believe this to be the best bet to start the platform off. Firstly, this definitely does not mean that nsfw is not coming at all, it is still coming, but for the reasons i’m about to explain it’ll be arriving at a later date. A. Conversion rate + initial target market After deep diving into all kinds of platforms and learning many areas/aspects of the paid creator economy since 2021, I came to the realisation that there is a really underserved market in the Twitch space. I used to be a streamer myself before I launched CR, mostly streaming Just Chatting. And back when I was streaming I personally really wanted a way to chat to my viewers and earn at the same time, but, with the current solutions out there it means you are forced to post consistently to a feed to make the subscription seem ‘worth it’. So, the solution of a paid platform that focuses around authentic messaging to me makes the most sense, as also it’ll be hard to compete with other platforms when it comes to content due to the sheer amount of it already around. The hardest hurdle we face is to incentivize people to put their payment info in. People are naturally lazy and want whatever is the most convenient, if they can fulfil a service already on an existing platform they will. Hence, one of the biggest incentivisations we can give fans is if we could bring them a creator that 1, they are already interested in and 2, they cannot already message on other platforms. If you are not familiar with Twitch, Twitch streamers literally have the most active, dedicated fanbases out of any other platform. You see people donating all the time over there for nothing in return except perhaps for some implied attention, simply because they like and want to support the streamer. Twitch streamers have a variety of content, and are often into topics such as cosplay, gaming and tech. Just because it's sfw doesn’t mean it’s ‘boring’ content. Infact, there are already loads of OF girls who stream on Twitch because it is so OP to attract new fans. There is a huge overlap here with the creators and audience. This Twitch fanbase uses pepe emotes everywhere and is the closest thing we will ever find to people already being interested in crypto, memes, AND platforms like OF. People are on this site as viewers to either cure their boredom, or to find connections with others. This is exactly what our platform does - a place where you can find people to connect with (just text-based instead of live). So that streamers can continue making deeper connections and find new fans, whilst earning and without having to go live 24/7. Like I said this is just the initial target market, as I see it having the highest conversion rate and chance of working out. Once we have been able to feed some volume through the platform, we can expand to NSFW; but for the reasons I'm about to state it’s not possible to have NSFW straight off the bat. B. Resources Obviously since the bear market hit, I’ve had to be very careful and stay efficient with spending. Allowing NSFW straight away requires a lot more resources than starting off as SFW. I shall explain a few key areas: 1/ Payment Processors I have a nsfw friendly one lined up already, but it is not that simple. You need to integrate it with the code/database / add a way for the funds to flow differently if distinguishing from sfw/nsfw, more moderation, kyc checks, etc. All this requires a lot more time to setup, adding more and more features needed, when really the absolute key thing we need is traffic first. Not only that, but integrating with a sfw payment processor right now is tons easier due to lots of dev documentation, so it's a lot quicker to integrate and completely free to setup, whereas the other one I have lined up for nsfw has an upfront lump payment just to setup, not as extensively used so less documentation to integrate, plus you have to process x amount of volume through them per month or you have to pay the difference.
